This is a friendly reminder that applications to the 2016 FDSE summer school, to be held at the University of Cambridge 5-16 September 2016, are open. Please visit the website fdse.org for information about the application procedure. The deadline to apply is March 18th, 2016. Details about the school can be found on the website, which we hope you will bring to the attention of students and colleagues. We hope that you will encourage your own students to apply.

 

The school is a development of the DAMTP Summer School on Geophysical and Environmental Fluid Dynamics that ran from 1991-2006. It resumed in 2012 in Cambridge, as a new collaborative endeavour between DAMTP and Ecole Polytechnique in Paris, giving it a full international dimension. The school now focuses on the critical contemporary issues of sustainability and the environment, and been renamed “Summer School on Fluid Dynamics of Sustainability and the Environment” FDSE.
